Eleanor U. Kennedy Shelter is a 50-bed shelter for 38 men and 12 women, located on Fort Belvoir grounds. Provides short term emergency shelter to homeless individuals along with intensive case management to assist with the development of a stable housing plan. Participates in county's Hypothermia Prevention Program in the winter; no turn-away policy Dec 1 to Mar 31.
